Book Review 1-13 [Chinese Adventure]

I read this book; title is “Chinese Adventure”.
At the grandmother’s birthday party, everyone gave her a lot of present. She was pleased them, especially, she loved a Chinese vase that one of the presents. But Floppy, grandmother’s dog broke it. When children found the broken vase, a magic key took children to China long ago.

They arrived at the Forbidden City, and the Emperor caught them. But, children became freedom, because they helped the emperor.

The Emperor gave a big Chinese vase for children as a present. Then, the magic key took the children to home. The Chinese vase what the Emperor gave them were same design with the broken vase.

I thought that the emperor is terrible man, but he was good man, because he loves his twins and he allowed children to become freedom after all.

After I read this book, I thought that I want to go to China. If I can go there, I will visit a lot of sightseeing post, and eat a lot of Chinese foods! I want to buy dress of Chinese, too. I should earn a lot of money for my wish from now. [193/6533]

Book Review 1-12 [The Frog Prince]

I read this book; title is “The Frog Prince” I chose it, because the illustration is so cute and I interested in the story of frog. The heroin, named Poppy is so cute girl, but I think that her character is bad.

When she fell into the pond with her favorite golden ball what her birthday present from her father, a frog helped her, because she promised something to him.

But, after he helped her, she came back to the palace soon. The frog called her again and again, but she didn’t hear his voice.

On the night, he went to the palace to meet Poppy. She rejected to meet him, but her father invited the frog into the palace.

Poppy said that she wanted to keep the promise, then her father was very angry, so, she kept the promise unwillingly.

The end of this story is interesting! Because I don’t write the end in this post, please read yourself if you want to know the end.

I like this story because there are some jokes and illustrations are cute. I want to read more books like this. [188]

Book Review 1-11 [Princes & Princesses]

I read this book, title is Princes & Princesses. There are three stories of Prince and Princess, and all stories are interesting. But especially, I like the story of delicate Prince.

A delicate Prince proposed to a cute Princess, and she wanted to get married to him. But, her father who a King of a country didn't allow her to get married to the Prince, because he is so delicate man!

One day, the Princess was taken from the castle by bad man. Then, the delicate Prince helped her. Because of his bravely action, the king allowed him to get married to his daughter.

I think that he is good man, of course, I don't like delicate man. But he isn't delicate! He is a bravely hero for the Princess. [130]

Book Review 1-10 [Corduroy Makes a Cake]

I read this book, title is “Corduroy Makes a Cake”　I selected it, because a bear of the cover is cute.

Corduroy makes a cake for Lisa’s birthday party, so he wears an apron and cook’s hat. I t is so cute!!

And he begins to cook, but he isn’t good cook, because he can’t use mixer well, and the batter hit around the kitchen.

After all, he can’t make cake, but he can prepare a nice present for Lisa. What is the present? If you want to know the answer, please try to read this book.

Book Review 1-09 [Fluffy And the firefighters]

I read this book, title is “Fluffy And the firefighters”. I selected it, because I want to read new series and Fluffy looks cute!

One day, two firefighters came to Ms. Day’s classroom, because they introduce their job to children. They explain their uniforms what protect them from fire, and wear it actually. Then Fluffy saw the Firefighter, and he thought “help!” That’s why he thought that the firefighter is a space monster, because firefighters can look scary.

I thought that Fluffy is so cute, because he is hiding from firefighters!

After all, he understood firefighters, and he climbed into the cab. Then the fire engine moved to place of fire. Fluffy saw firefighter’s work and he thought “firefighters real heroes!”

I think so too! Firefighters are great, because they save a lot of life. This book tell us important thing. I want to read this series again. [148]

Book Review 1-08 [kipper the Clown]

I read this book, the title is Kipper the Clown.

This is my favorite series, and I choose it because the cover is cute.

Children held circus, and they played a lot of nice circus shows. Kipper was a clown, Chip was a strong-man, and William and Biff did gymnastics. It was a good circus.

The story remands me of my memory of circus. When I was a child, I went to the big circus with my family. There were a lot of exciting shows, for example, there were motorcycle show, a flying trapeze, and animal show. It was very exciting time, and I want to go to the circus with my family again. BookReview 1-07[Scarecrows]

I read this book, the title is "Scarecrows". It is story of my favorite series.

Biff and Chip who main character in this series planted seeds in their garden. But, the birds ate the seeds! Then Biff and Chip had a nice idea, it is making a scarecrow. They made a boy scarecrow, named Fred. Then, the magic key began to glow, and the magic took them in another world.

In the world, Fred is alive, so he could move and speaking! There were some scarecrows in the world, and they held dance party for scarecrows. Biff and Chip couldn't join to the party, because they are human. But Fred had an idea, so they colud join the party dressed like a scarecrow.

They had a good time, it was very exciting party. After they came back home, Biff and Chip made a girl scarecrow. There are two scarecrows in their garden, and protect their plants.

To tell the truth, I didn't like scarecrows before I read this story, because Japanese scarecrow is very fearful! I think that most of Japanese scarecrows have only head, and don't have their body. It is very fearful.

I want Japanese scarecrows change into nice one like Fred.[204/3376]

Book Review 1-06 [Rotten Apples]

I read this book, title is Rotten Apples. I chose it, because I like this series and the horse of the cover is cute.

I like this story, it is funny. A gluttonous horse ate a lot of rotten apples, and because of that, the horse was drunk, and ran down the street!

If a real horse is drunk, it becomes a tragic accident, but the story is good! The book is easy to read, so please try to read. [80/3002]

Book Review 1-05 [The Motorway]

I read this book, the title is The Motorway. I chose it, because I like this series.


Story of this series are always funny, but the topic in this book is serious thing. A project will make a hill where the grandmother lives change into motorway. But people refuse the project to protect them area. It is difficult to stop the project, but people succeeded in protect the hill.


I think that the topic is very important for our life. There are a lot of constructions in my town. Around my house, new buildings and roads appeared one after another. Of course, new roads and shops are good for our life, but we need nature. It is difficult for me to decide to right and wrong.

Book Review 1-04[stories of WITCHES]

I read this book. The book has three stories. Contents are The lost broomstick, Dog spell, and The famer's revenge.

I chose it, because the book has CD. After I read the book, I heard it. CD was interesting! If you tired of read book, please hear the CD.

Witches in the stories are very bad! In The lost broomstick, the witch changed a woman into a horse, because she wanted a vehicle for a party. And she earn money buy selling the horse. What foolish witch!

Two witches in the Dog spell and The famer's revenge steal foods from people. If my food was stolen, I will very angry!

When I finished reading this book, I became hate witches. I want to read happy book next.[127/1933]

Book Review 1-03 [The Flying Elephant]

I read this book; it is “The Flying Elephant”. I choose it from a lot of books, because I thought that the title is funny, and the illustration of cover is cute.

Have you ever seen a flying elephant? I have never seen it. Of course, the flying elephant is not real elephant. It is balloon of a supermarket.

When children went to supermarket, the elephant is on the top of building. But bad storm came, and strong wind blew elephant away. After that, when children went to school, the elephant was in the school! It was fat elephant, and children laughed whenever they see it. But, finally, it became flat elephant rather than slim elephant. That’ why a man let the air out of balloon.

When I finished reading this book, I think that I want to see a flying elephant! If I see it, I will take a picture and movie, and show you in this blog:) But, as you know, it is impossible that a real elephant is flying. Moreover, I have never seen a balloon of elephant in Japan. It seems that it is difficult for us to see flying elephant. [195/1020]

Book Review 1-02 [The Great Race]

I read “The Great Race”.

A grandmother bought a new car. When she chose her car, she decided to buy cool car, though her grandchildren recommend her useful car. And she takes part in car race!! But there were some traps, because a bad man made it to disturb her.

Can she win the race?

If you know the answer, please try to read this book. It is very easy to read.

I think that I want grandmother like her, because she is very cheerfully and have young spirit! But I don’t want to join a car race, because it is very dangerous! (103)

Book Review 1-01 [A Present for Mom]

I read this book, "A Present for Mom".
I like this series, because illustration of this book is cute.
I think that the man is very nice husband!! He prepared for not only nice present, but also has nice idea to make his wife laugh for 10th wedding anniversary. I want a nice husband like him in the future!
And his wife is very nice woman too. She prepared for nice present for hers husband. I think they are deeply in love with each other, so I'm envious of them. I want to get married to a man like him!!! [100/442]
